I'm a frequent business traveler and the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay has been the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying at for business. Staff is amazing, several have stayed with the property over 20 years. Property is super clean with great amenities. I would certainly choose to come here again when I need a place to stay in Tampa.
The property and hotel are beautiful. We stayed in the cacitas and they were so pretty. The pool is nice, right by the bay. We rented a jet ski from a very helpful girl. Dennis at the front bar was awesome. The bell staff picks you up and takes you where you need to go. Wayne, Alex went above and beyond to help us. I'd highly suggest this hotel.
Very nice hotel. We were there for awards convention and banquet. Great view from 8th floor room, ask for bay side. Staff attentive and efficient. Cozy bar and sitting nooks in front lobby (service a little slow, but mix a good cocktail)
We had a free night from family as a wedding gift. We were in the villas and they were amazing. The lounge bar was great with good selection. The room was a surprise so we were prepared, so we called some toiletries but the first time they came by all they brought was coffee. Had to call a second time, when the guy answered he sound like he didn't want to be there. I would give 4.5 but can't so 4 it is.
I was at Grand Hyatt to pick up potential clients in order to take them to dinner. The hotel was extremely clean, and the bar was well placed as you entered the lobby. The bar in the lobby was busy. I also noticed the nice pool area that seemed a bit small for the size of the hotel. The location of the hotel is fantastic as it's just a few minutes from the airport, but due to it's location on the water, it feels extremely secluded.
