Please be aware of their cancellation policy due to cancelled flights. I spent 6 hours in the Charlotte Airport trying to get to Tampa for my hotel reservation only to have my flight cancelled at 10:30pm. I immediately called this hotel to inform them I couldn't make it due to my cancelled flight. So after the extremely frustrating airport experience I'm told that I will be charged the full room rate due to not cancelling 24 hours in advance. How in the world am I'm suppose to give a notice when the airline cancels my flight after waiting 6 hours! Then I was told that was their policy and there was nothing they could do. I had been a faithful Marriott Rewards member for 10 years until today. Now I will begin using my Hilton Rewards at their hotels. They should add airline cancellations outside the customer's control as a reason to allow a cancellation under 24 hours. Now that would be good customer service! Now I'm calling and emailing to get my receipt for the night I wasn't able to stay but you can't get through. I called three times and they will pick up then hang up. I finally got them to answer and they put me on eternal hold. Definitely not customer service oriented at this hotel.
We stayed in a suite and it was very nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When we made requests they were very quick to respond and meet our needs. The only downside is that a continental breakfast isn't available. They do provide breakfast, just at an additional cost ($12). Overall stay was great.
I've been staying here for The past 3 months and the people are wonderful! Especially Betty on the morning and Anthony who helped fish my wearing out of the drain!

Love the location. Not to far from gentleman's clubs and the rooms are nice and comfortable.
At check in and check out we found no one at the front desk. Both times we had to walk around to find someone. At check out, a lady was in the bistro, she saw us, and then ducked in the back to continue chatting with other staff. The locks on our room door wouldn't work. So it would take 5-6 attempts to actually have the key engage the lock. I've only needed ice from a hotel once in 3 years of constant travel. This time, the time that I needed it, there was no ice. All in all a poor representation. I will not be staying here again.
