The location is nice, you're close to the airport and right down the street from Ben T Davis beach so that reflects in the price. There's a decent kitchen but it's old and doesn't have many supplies. The manager was really nice but the front desk associate could use more customer service training. Pretty good wifi, better in the off hours when people aren't using it of course. Nice breakfast.
I wanted my money back but was told there we're no refunds. So I contacted my lawyer to see how to proceed with this situation. So I am coming to you as a housekeeping supervisor at the Hyatt Resort on Clearwater Beach, you need better housekeepers because I would have fired the person that did the cleaning.....

My wife and I spent a week at this Hotel and we loved everything about it. First of all, the customer service was incredible – everyone there went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. They prepared complementary appetizers, cookies and drinks each evening and always seemed to have a couple of towels ready for us as we entered the office on our way to the swimming pool. The rooms were clean and everything worked perfectly. We would definitely stay with them again.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
Interesting, unique place. Some strange things- there were chlorine tablets in the urinals, which mixed with the ammonia of urine produced some noxious toxic fumes. The rooms were very outdated but mostly clean. The wheelchair accessibility we definitely not ADA compliant. The room was big and clean though, and the air cold. There's a handy market at the end of the property that has everything you could ever want. The staff was kind and helpful. All in all, not a bad place to lay your head but I've stayed in much nicer places for the money spent.
This was my first time staying here and I payed $150 for a dirty. My first room was 713, it had ants, closet door and the air conditioner was broke. They switch my room to 1015. The pictures I have sent you are from 1015. There we're crumbs on the floor, stains on pull out sofa bed, a dirty sock on side of dresser, kitchen floor was not mop, another broke closet door, used bar of soap in shower, tile cracked, chip and moving in upstairs bathroom, and a glob of someone else hair was in the bath mat...... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
The first room was not good.. Mold on the walls but we called the front desk and by the time we got back to the office we had a new room and key to a clean and quiet room. The bed was heaven and even with the hotel at capacity... My room was super quiet and comfy. I was afraid after reaching reviews but my experience was the best! Front desk was super responsive and accommodating. I will return. Loved the kitchen, fridge... Everything. Really glad I didn't jump to conclusions. I had the best mini vacation with my best guy of 33 years. Thank you. I needed it.
