The location is great. Easy to get to and from the interstate. The reason I went with three stars is because it really provides the bare minimum. It's fine if all you need is a bed
Our room stank of dampness, the door wouldn't lock and there was litter all round where we were located. Also did not feel very safe as there were crowds of young men hanging about in cars late at night.
Shuttle? False advertising. Was told last shuttle runs at 9:45 pm. Called from the airport and was told the last one had run ... at 9:20 pm. Get to hotel by way of taxi, sign on wall says last run is at 10:00 pm? Departing, tried to reserve a spot for 9:30 am the night before. No shuttle, agent never offered to call. Ended up using Uber. Cost of stay went up $30 between those rides. Spend more money on the hotel, less on rides.
Today I have checked my bank statement to find that both my husband's account and mine have both been debited.
We reported that our door wouldn't lock and were told that someone would come and see to it. As we couldn't lock the door we waited for 2 hours then had no choice but to pack all our clothes and items we had bought to put in the fridge into our car as we had booked tickets for a football game at the stand. We went to reception before going to the game to let them know the door still hadn't been fixed. I asked if there was anywhere they could store our fridge items for us as it was 90f outside and were told no. I then asked to be moved to another room. I was told there were no clean rooms - they weren't joking!
Absolutely do not book this hotel.
We went to the game and when we came back found that they had allocated us another room. This room didn't smell much better and came with dirty nappies in the parking area.
Came up from new York to go to tampa game. Went for a cheap room and got less then what I paid for. This room was disgusting. Had 2 stained pillow cases, dresser drawers didn't pull out correctly. Iron didn't work and didn't have am ironing board. And to top it all off, no hot water. Had to take a cold shower and finally we couldn't even get breakfast cause they were done with it by 9:30am. Really!!! I recommend anyone not stay here. And i will be calling customer service and or their headquarters to further complain.
Stayed here about two months ago. Room didn't look like it had been cleaned. No towels in our room and the girl at the front was rude when we asked for some. To top it all off there was a weird blood spot on the sheets of one of the beds.
I am on vacation at the moment from the UK but will be contacting the fraud team at my bank on my return.
