This hotel was a great stay. It more of a motel atmosphere since the rooms are outside. To access the hallways to the rooms, you need a room key wristband so it seems pretty safe. The rooms are great and clean. All the workers are so sweet. My only complaint was the breakfast. The eggs seemed a little grainy. I was hoping there would be a waffle maker and it kind of lacks. Breakfast also ends at 9:30 which is pretty early when you're staying here for a vacation with your family. The pool is BEAUTIFUL and so is the inside of the hotel at night. I love that there's a restaurant right next door so you don't necessarily have to go out to eat at night.
Ohhh and the breakfast is AMAZING. I myself am not a morning person and regret not making it to breakfast more often. Other hotels have gave me bad stomach aches and let the food sit under hot lamps like a fast food restaurant. NOT THE CLARION! They have fresh fruit, REAL scrambled eggs, bacon that IS NOT frozen. And a pancake maker I envy.
You're lucky you got one star the service was terrible! I took a flight to get into town and was sent away because I didn't have a reservation when I pulled out my cash the night desk attendant just so Happens to Find one king size bed Room I Over paid for the Room for 2 nights which I was assured I would get breakfast And all of the amenities of the hotel which was a falsity. I understand the hotel was under construction and being renovated As a guest It didn't matter because we were still inconvenienced. No food no snacks and the vending machines No access to the pool on a beautiful 81ﾟ day This is Tampa Florida, And there was not one Accommodation or incentive set out to the guest for their inconvenience I will Never ever stay here again won't ever recommend anyone staying here.
I have been staying here for about a month due to hurricane Irma. The hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing. They have made me feel right at home and made this stressful experience so much better. I will agree with one review I saw that it has got a but noisy at times, but nothing that should drive and rational person away from this AWESOME place. Ms. Chanel at the front desk has been such a joy and I must say she should be the face of this location if there ever was one. I even saw an employee polishing one of 6 dozen "crystal" balls individually on the light fixtures in the lobby hall way. the attention to detail with the renovations and the upkeep is so admirable I want to work here!
Absolutely awful. We were asked to move rooms 3 times due to a laundry list of issues including a broken toilet, stained sheets and carpets, garbage left in the room and more. Would not recommend this location to anyone staying nearby.
This hotel is nice. The rooms and lobby area were well decorated and clean. The pool is nice. They didn't have posted pool hours, but apparently expect you out by 11pm. The room key as a silicone bracelet is a great idea. Made for easy access when you have things in your hand and is much better than trying to dig for a card. Our room included a $9 voucher for the breakfast buffet in the restaurant connected to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is only $10 though. The food was alright. A few more options would have been nice though.
