This is Darla Johnson and I had the pleasure of walking into the store to be greeted by one of the most helpful and energetic Apple reps I have met at this very popular and busy store. LEE welcomed me and without an appointment managed to work with me as he took great care of greeting and directing others to where they needed to go for assistance. As I hesitated to stay thinking it was something that this store could not do he insisted I stay and allow him to look into my situation. Not only did identify what to do, he quickly put me with someone who fixed the problem in less 5 minutes. He was fantastic and his willingness to help was over and beyond your typical Apple Rep. Thank you LEE!
Very busy. Some employees pretty rude but it was during a huge new release. Otherwise it has always been pleasant.
I feel that the store is not organized when it comes to a crowd of people. I went for a walk in around 1 and they first told me I'd be waiting two hours, which was fine. I then get a text message 2 hours later and they told me to leave and come back about 3 hours later.....I canceled my appointment and scheduled one. Never do a walk in unless it is right when they open at 10 on weekdays.
Since it's the only Apple show in town - it's almost always busy here! Best to arrive literally upon opening and you will have immediate service. Even under crowded situations they do a pretty good job with there staff, wait times are as expected given the popularity. The store is you typical Apple design and philosophy, clean, bright with large open floor space design.
I love Apple but this store is always overly crowded and finding help here is almost non existent. Between the crowd and needing help you're better off finding a different store to go to or calling Apples 1-800 number directly for help.
I have mixed feelings about this store. If you are someone who needs tech support in person, I'd recommend being there right before they open, for a walk in. If you decide to do a walk in in the middle of the day, expect to wait at least an hour or more. It can usually go up to 2 or 3 hours of a wait. If you are buying a product, then you should be okay and not be waiting too long. I do hangout in the store a lot just to look at the devices.
With my situation here, which has been going on for over 4 months, I finally got the issue resolved because I called apple support online. I'd highly recommend talking to apple support online before taking your issue into the store here. My issue was something that couldn't be reproduced on command, so it was almost impossible to show them proof of the problem. They ran tests and the device passed and it didn't show any issues, even though I showed them a video of the issue happening. I finally decided to talk to a manager and he kept telling me that I should upgrade to a newer device, after I've told him a few times that I didn't have the money and I just wanted my issue fixed. The issue was going on way before the device expired and since the device expired, the manager said he couldn't help me. I got frustrated and he said I can call apple support and they came to a fixed solution in 10 minutes. Support told me that I was still within warranty, since the issue has been ongoing way before expiration. With that said, apple support is more likely to fix the issue, in a very short amount of time, whereas you are less likely to fix it, and wait for a long time in the store. I really wish they would fix the wait times there because it's ridiculous. I'm happy I finally got it resolved, thanks to apple support.
