Absolutely a disgrace of a company. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone ever.
Not even 1/2 our belongings made it onto the truck for the first trip and the team refuses to complete the job.
Day of, 2 guys show up as expected and instead of getting to work, fought with us for 45 minutes that instead of the 3 hours we were quotes based on the list of belongings it would actually take 6 hours.
Now, not only is my move not complete but the office and representative handling the move aren't answering the phone and have reported they will be charging us for the extra time and resources any way.
Five star team at Big Boys. I'm not a review kinda guy but felt I had to take the time to give a big thumbs up to this great company. Namely Robert, John and Luke. I've been flipping houses for several years and have used many moving companies but never one as good as them. I flew into town to help move my mother move into a retirement community and big boys was recommended by her neighbor. It had been a hectic week but the team of movers helped us every step of the way. They packed all of her china. Took apart and resetup her grandfather clock. They helped unpack and I found nothing broken. They were well trained and moved like well oiled machines. The price was right on their estimate. I can't thank them enough. Keep up the good work.
I wanted to share what a wonderful experience we had with Big Boys Moving & Storage of Tampa on 8/12/17. The two gentlemen we were blessed to have as the actual movers, were Rodney and Jordan. They were Absolutely Fabulous! They spoke to each other as gentlemen, and spoke to my husband and myself as such! The best part of moving, and we all know how stressful moving can be... was Rodney and Jordan, they made it an absolute pleasure! I just can't express enough how wonderful they were! They are True Gentleman and Professionals!

I was quoted a “discounted” rate to entice me and even though other companies thought I needed 3 guys, this company assured me I only needed 2 and they knew the building “very well” that I was moving into. It took them 9 hours to move a 1 bedroom apt 9 miles and I was charged $1150. And to top it off the movers added $100 in gratuity when I only authorized $50. They were seen by my friends smoking pot in their truck and when they were told not to leave a mattress I no longer needed in the dumpster by a condo maintenance man they flipped him off and told him they were leaving It anyways. I was fined $100 more due to their negligence there. When I called to complain, the lady basically told me “too bad”. Before they even got started, they were complaining it was a “3 man job” and when I asked if I should call for them to send a third guy, i was told by the driver that it “won’t matter anyhow because their goal is to stretch out the move as long as possible.” Last year I moved more stuff 25 miles to the condo I just moved out of and was charged half the price these guys charged. Total rip off ! These kind of companies cast a bad light on the entire moving industry.
If I could give zero stars, I would.
Tried to shop local and give business to this company to move a simple 1 bedroom apartment less than 10minutes between locations. Quoted appropriately and excited for the move.
Super helpful people in the office. They kept in touch on move day and made the whole experience so easy. The guys worked really hard and did everything I asked. They put my canopy bed back together and the baby's crib. Will definitely recommend!
