I LOVE renting from National. They have the fastest service, and great selections to choice from. I wasn't happy with my first pick and I was able to exchange it with no problems. I would HIGHLY recommend using their services. Oh, and make sure to sign up for EMERALD!
Rented for just a few days using the executive section. Only 2 cars left when we got there, both were fine for what we needed but nothing special. Easy picking it up and dropping it off. Charged me for half a day when I was about 30 mins late returning it though. That was the only disappointment to an otherwise great experience.
National counter had fast service with a well trained attendant. I got a well equipped Fusion hybrid. It drove well on the highway getting over 40 mpg. The only downside to the car was that the trunk space was small & turning radius was limited. On the return, 5 cars pulled in at the same time. The staff flexed up and got everyone out to the terminal quickly. There was even a handicapped senior who they had a baggage carrier and wheel chair dispatched to the returned car lane. Overall, I was very satisfied & would preferentially use the company again.
This was my first time using National. I picked up the car in Tampa, FL. I didn't have to check in just went to the Emerald aisle and got in the car. Extremely fast, easy and hassle free! The only time I had to wait was when returning the car and only because there were several cars being returned at the same time. Once they got to me the guy was friendly, the price was exactly what I was quoted and it only took about 30 seconds. I am looking forward to my next rental with National
Service was fine. I had an issue because four of us were sharing a car and they wouldn't let the first driver to arrive to pick up the car even though I had called ahead. National corrected this however and I was satisfied with how they handled it. The biggest issue we had was the car itself. We had a lot of choices along the Emerald Aisle and chose a Jeep.thinking it would be a good choice. But the car did not have even the most basic features. No back up camera. No USB ports. Would've thought it would be higher end car with at least a basic features
