We have dined at many Middle Eastern Restaurants around the Unkted States and other Countries. We are from Detroit and have some of the best Middle Eastern food. Petra has set a new mark for excellence. Incredibly seasoned and properly cooked lamb. Hommous that is meticulously prepared. A clean, unpretentious dining area, with outside Patio dining available. My wife had the Vegetable Platter I had the Turkish Shish-kabob. Ample portions, friendly unobtrusive service and very reasonable prices has made this one of our new Tampa favorites!
One of the best restaurants in Tampa. Everything they serve here is amazing. I always get the mint tea when I come here and I would definitely recommend having a cup while you are here.

The food is absolutely amazing. I have ordered virtually everything and have neever been disappointed. The service is equally good and the staff is always friendly. If you like middle eastern fare, don't miss this place. The decor is just average, but that lets the food shine.
You will miss this place if not looking for it. The parking is in front of the Metro PCS. You can enter from the back where it says hookah and into the outdoor patio or you can enter the front door facing Kennedy Blvd.
