There were so many choices for food, but the seafood and Asian section need to be improved as the options were sparse. The option for the Asian soup was only Pho. There were five to six options for dim sum and sushi looked not so good. When I came at eight, there were only some types of sushi roll but no nigiri like salmon or tuna at all. The seafood section has raw and fresh raw oyster, shrimp cocktail, clams, steamed crawfish, and some English clam soup.
Lots of delicious choices but the food stations are so spread out, you might miss a station if you’re not familiar with the restaurant layout. Also, I read in one of the reviews that you’ll need to tip the server at the seafood station otherwise you will not be served . So true. If you’re craving clam or oyster, tip first.
The best buffet title might be more suitable for treating sweet teeth. The dessert section was terrific with too many delicious choices such as cheesecakes, key lime pie, cookies, mousses, ice cream, and a chocolate fountain.
An old lady with a dark hairs at clam station was very mean and rude. She was so angry at me when i wanted to get clam and kept ignoring me. I don't know why she can still work there with that kind of attitude. Maybe because like someone said in below, i didn't tip her before i asked for clam? ridiculous system.
The American and Italian cuisine areas were quite poor creativity as the dishes were familiar with sausages, corns, and lots of pizza, pasta, and bread. To be able to have king crab leg, the price is $45 including tax available only on Friday night. What a pricey!
Frankly, I felt the price was not worth it whatsoever, with $20 for lunch and $27 for dinner per person, even though it included the drink.
Someone claimed that this is the best restaurant in Tampa for the buffet. I think not. The restaurant was extremely busy at night as we had to wait an hour in line to be seated. We came here both for lunch and dinner.
Not very happy with the food tonight. Everything is tasteless. They were out of clams which is one of the main reasons I come here and the corn tasted like water. Such a disappointment considering we eat here a lot.
disappointed.. I have come here in the past and was able to pay for a child's buffet, not this time.. I paid full price for 2 bites of extremely dry prime rib,4 bites of mashed potatoes, and 2 bites of seafood Mac and cheese. The food was very good, but definitely not worth 27.00 .( I am a bariatric patient,my stomach holds about 1 cup of food.) I eat far less than most people waste.. oh well, lesson learned.i took before and after pictures. No plans on returning. I could of lied and said ,1 adult,1 child but I didn't. The managers ,both that I talked to were rude.
