Get yourself new staff ALEZ! You need a new chef, cause the food being put out there can cause people to get sick, and please get new servers, cause they are plain rude!
Food is nasty I had poisoning. The food is dry and to much salt. Overpriced. Terrible service. The owner(Devinson) tries to talk to every female that walk in because he is desperate and it’s borderline sexual harassment . (The man with the rat face) The owner is a thief and he doesn’t have to pay the employees on the books. He also threatened me to remove this review. And he doesn’t pay his employees because he’s cheap. I don’t like to see his face. They make you wait forever for the food even if you order over the phone. DONT EAT THERE. It’s in box area for a reason. I have already reported him to the authorities for extortion, blackmail, threats.
My family and I ate there two saturdays ago, and the food was horrible! My four year old said he felt sick after eating there, no lie!! food is full of grease! Lacks flavor! I’m just shocked food like that can be for real! PLEASE PEOPLE STAY AWAY! There are other Haitian restaurants in Tampa that are so much high quality food. Alez is not them! Only someone who is new to Haitian food would think alez has good food.
The best food, made fresh to order. The fried goat, soursop smoothie, pomegranate smoothie, fried plantains, the red snapper in citrus sauce... I am convinced they bottled love and put it on my food :)
My daughter and I ate there for the first time a week ago and the food/service was heavenly. My servers were attentive and professional. Will be dining there in the future.
Next will drive to Miami’s Haitian restaurant called Tap Tap! Tap tap is more professional and food is awesome.
Let me not get started on the service! Let’s just say, they treated my family as if they were doing us a favor to cook us that nasty food!

Eating here is like getting a hug from a loved one.
I was just disappointed. Brought my mom and wife and the food took pretty long, BUT more importantly they didnt have what my wife ordered...and never told us until the rest of the food came out. The apologies weren't enough to make up, considering their top-tier service to others in the building. Overall as a Haitian myself, I was hoping for fsr better service.
