The police are not going to help you. I tried to get help when i was the victim of a crime and they tried to pass me off to other police stations even though i live in their district. The hills sheriff department had to force them to file a report for me and when district 3 finally filed it they actually told me that they weren't actually going to do anything beyond paperwork.
I ordered my registration renewal weeks ago (it will be one month on Monday) from the Hillsborough county and I haven't received it I got a 48 hour notice to tow on my car and the tow company said remove my car from the property or else it will get towed. I called the police station to see if there's anything I can do or they can do because my car is parked in the apartment complex where I live and I was told I shouldn't have waited till last minute it can get towed with an expired tag. By the way it's Friday evening so I can't go talk to my leasing office or go to the DMV until Monday which is past the 48 hours.
