Love this Community/neighborhood library.
The self check out is everything that makes this library amazing to me, I'm in and I'm out in no time. There's never a wait for a computer and everyone is friendly and happy to help.
A beautiful, brick, historic library in the 'main street' heart of Old West Tampa - it may not be the biggest library in Tampa, but it's one of my favorite.
Devin the roving real estate agent here - I've stopped by here for a quick meet with clients, to sign contracts, and also for some unwinding with a random book off the bookshelf.

A well maintained slice of Tampa history. This little library is a jewel that if you are not careful to look out for can be easily passed by.
There is plenty of space on the back wall facing Union Street with lots of room for collaborating with others on projects or just to charge your devices.
There are also private meeting spaces available upon request. Finally, there's a nice reading area, kid-sized, for the kids.
To the previous reviewer, SHAME ON YOU. The librarians are more than just what they look like. It is comment like this that lead to uncomfortable work environment.
The only library I have ever been to in my entire life that actually has smokin hott librarians!!!! The Book Babes!
People seem happy at that library. Even, I like the place. A diamond in the rough-kind of place for kids. As someone who comes to use this library, i can see that the librarians and the staff are loved by the public but also the public is very appreciative for the service, knowledge, dedication and love for books that these civil servants bring.
Don't forget the friendly librarian and assistants. :)
