Been to this library once to print out two papers...Now let me tell you how rude it was for the lady at the front desk to just completely treat me as though I was dumb because I was asking for help on how to use the printer...I explained to her that I have never been to this location but it was the only one open because it was on a Sunday around 4pm. She was not of much help and looked as if she was having a miserable day...Hows that for a horrible first impression???

Safe place to let your child study

It's Devin, the roving Real Estate Agent here! When I have buyers coming into the Lowry Park North / Forest Hills area, I always make sure they know about this area-staple.

I love this library! They have a wide selection of books and if you can't find a book they can have it brought from another library or tell you which branch it is in. The rows are neat and in order and include DVDs and CDs. There are multiple rooms to have private study groups in or writing clubs, ect. There is an easy to use computer center where you can use the internet and print documents, there is a time limit on them so everyone can get a turn. If you need to extend your time due to filling out job apps or something really important they will extend your time for you. There is a person that is assigned to help in the computer center in case you don't know how to log-in, print or find something you need. The only things I have noticed that looks problematic is the nearness to the train tracks that are directly next to it and the parking and entrances.

Seriously though I dont expect people to walk around all jolly and stuff just at least be of some help to those in need of help thats your job.

At this place, you'll also find plenty of seating space for reading or working, along with several rows of computers which are available for public and guest use. Along each wall there are separate conference/class rooms available upon request/reservation.

Clean and well lit. Quiet. Plus expert service.

There's a spacious parking lot (hint - shade at the back), nice shaded entryway, spacious lobby, clean bathrooms (with family bathrooms as well), and a second-hand book store off the lobby. Additionally, there's a book donation space right when you walk in - hence the second-hand bookstore.
