New to Tampa and have not set up internet at home yet....able to pop in and print forms and such when needed. Never a wait for the computer and always an easy atmosphere.
Its close to home the people are great and it gives me a place to go hangout theres lots to do
My only experience here was at the eclipse event. It was handled very poorly. Instead of acting smart & fair and giving out one pair eclipse glasses per family, they gave every family member, even children that couldn't even speak yet a pair. There was enough for most groups in line when they opened the door (I was there) to have a pair to share with their group. Instead most cars drove away with 5+ glasses each. Somehow the library didn't realize the shortage would cause lots of people to show up and even after seeing the line for hours outside their door they didn't stop and think how can we get the most people a chance to see this event? Wouldn't go back for any event.
Most of the librarians are very generous and understanding I wish I knew their names there is one with a very long braid and has glasses and another who is left handed with a natural reddish color hair. She is so sweet to my son. Very helpful finding specific books I read as a child to share with my son. I love my community library. I just wish they were open at 9am.
