Great doctors, great nurse practitioners and the nurses are great also. I got recommended this doctor from a lot of people and they helped me with everything I needed.

This is the worst office staff in the Tampa area , they do not know what they are doing the place needs to hire a real Office manager.

This is a review of the office staff, not the doctor, because, as you will learn through my review, I never got the chance to see a doctor! I showed up this morning 30 minutes prior to my appointment, as requested (11am appointment, showed up at 10:30am). FINALLY, at 11am (not prior - why was I there 30 minutes early?), the front desk staff calls me up and tells me that my appointment is actually for TOMORROW, not today. For one, I am not happy about that because I took notes while on the phone making my appointment and wrote the date down THREE TIMES - mainly because I had to fast that morning prior to blood work, so I wanted to make sure I had the date right because fasting is the pits!!!! For two, why did the staff make me wait 30 MINUTES before telling me I was there on the supposed wrong day??? The staff went through the entire sign-in list, including 7 people who came in after me, checked them in, gave them paperwork, and THEN called me up to tell me I was there on the "wrong day", NOT when they got to my name and couldn't find me!! If they had told me within 10-15 minutes of being there that it was the "wrong day" then I could have gone back to work without having wasted too much time, but over 30 minutes was absurd. NOW, the staff tells me I can get on the waiting list to see the doctor since I "don't have an appointment". I ask how long that will take. "I have no idea" is the response. I understand that she cannot predict how long other appointments will take, but maybe "anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours" or SOMETHING. "I have no idea" is extremely unhelpful. I tell her I will wait for a little longer to see if they can squeeze me in (since I've already been waiting for over 30 minutes at this point, I might as well wait a little longer.) I go sit down. I get called back up maybe 10 minutes later and am handed some paperwork to fill out. At least I have something to do now. Another 5 minutes passes and I get called up again (I'm only on the 2nd page of paperwork so at this point it's like what is happening now?) The woman tells me that she made a mistake and that I can't be on a waiting list for a physical. NOW she tells me???? I've been there for a good 45 minutes and am now told that they cannot see me today but that I can come back for my correct appointment tomorrow (which I am 100% certain is NOT what the woman who scheduled my appointment told me when I scheduled last week). So at this point, I tell them to cancel my appointment and that I will not be back. So I found another physician at another practice and will not be returning to Northwest Family Medical. I know 45 minutes isn't a major, major amount of time, but the front desk staff had absolutely no consideration of my time or me having to take time off of work to make it in, and could not have cared less that I was inconvenienced. I'm happy to spend my time and money elsewhere.

I've been going to Cromer since I was a baby. I wouldn't go to anyone else. His office staff isn't the best but he is such a popular Doctor they have to juggle a lot. It's worth dealing with them to see him or one of his pa's they are all excellent.

I truly understand peoples frustrations I have them as well. But as I read some of these post I say to myself you have been pretty lucky oh boy! I'm a senior who still works and have to watch my pennies and my health. I'm not disagreeing with those post just stating a fact. I would say I don't go there to have a experience like I would at; let's say a Restaurant. I understand that it is a place that is over burden with too many Government restraints ect. All these lobbyist that are paying our politicians to make it harder on the people and easier on the insurance and investment companies are the real problems here. Can you believe a doctor must come in to see you with a lap top instead of a something to hear your heartbeat with. Don't blame your frustrations on them blame it where it clearly belongs. Dr. Cromer, in my opinion is the elite of his profession and so is the staff. He has been a very positive influence on my family, especially my son. Believe me I have had bad experience before with Doctors that don't take the proper time with the patient. Not this staff, they won't leave until you understand what needs to be understood.
