I am so annoyed with this school. I have sacrificed my finances to register in school and I have come to class everyday single day and all I ask is to please teach me something EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's like the registration process showed more concern than anything. I have spoke to a Director and the Dean about the matter at hand and nothing has change now next the President before the board of education. I am in Medical Administrative Assistant program and they have stopped enrolling students so they can revamp the course of study. That is fine but we are still here and still need to learn something, anything helps. I have had 2 instructors in a matter of 3 months and now we have a Program director to teach and not much has changed in teaching a lesson. I have learn more about their personal affairs then the school lesson. Which in not a good thing at all. We student represent this school and if we are sent to a site to work and not know anything what reputation will this school have and do they even care. My entire class is extremely frustrated and would dearly like this issue resolved. I am following my chain of commands and I continue to rise in the chain. AGAIN FRUSTRATED.
I went here for Pharmacy Tech (2011-2012) started out great until 3 to 4 months our teacher quits/fired, there didn't find another teacher right away had so many subs/ no teachers days and they lied about tuition fee.. Pretty much had to teach myself thumbs down for this school and im still paying for the student loan til this day
****FOR PROFIT SCHOOL**** DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS "SCHOOL" COMPLETELY A SCAM!!!!
I have been trying to get an answer from this school for about a month, people don't seem to know what they are doing there. I spoke with a woman named Darlene and with Victoria Drago and they were not able to answer simple questions about continuing education, she kept e mailing me without an answer for about a month and I kept reminding her and she will say she will get back to me. It just shows that maybe the school is not for me, if its like this now I don't want to imagine how it will be once I am a student and I need something from them.
Everest and Cor. online are not good schools, I would not recommend them to my enemy. After asking my course instructors many questions about the course, I got sick of getting the same copy and paste answer, refer to your course material. Sometimes I would ask different questions and get the same copy and paste answers. I actually started asking my high school teacher for help because the Everest instructor was no help. I also was promised the work was at my pace and I could turn in work at any time during the 12 week term, only that was not the case the instructors were making the rules and deciding what was graded and how much to take off for assignments. Not all instructors were bad but none of them were on the same page, there were different rules for each class, I just feel after 72 credited hours of hard learning that I was doing more work teaching me than my college that promised so much was teaching me. I have taken screen shots of students coping and pasting my work in class discussions and the Instructor say, "excellent work!", This would make so angry some times. Then they sent out letters saying they were raising tuition 5 % and books were now going to be Electronic Books, SO you mean to tell me that a E Book cost more than a Paper back book with shipping and handling and printing and you want me pay more for something that is not real? I did not sign up for a school who raises tuition half way threw a bachelors, changes from paper books to e books with any warning( If I wanted E books I would just get on Google books.) I got three weeks into a term without even knowing that the school changed to E books. I had to call the school and ask them where my books were. They told me, "we changed our policy and we use E - Books now it should be in your student user interface. They did this with out any warning. Like a said I would not wish this on my enemy. Also course instructors make discussions based on race, religion and base opinions not from a education stand point but from a what ever they fell like or believe stand point.
