The city did a good job cleanning it up over the last couple of months and now it seems to be a viable option for parking downtown.
The city put up a fence. No explanation. Then closed the lot over the weekend... no notice.. This morning at 0600-0745 the lot was closed, locked, and no help when calling the 274-8179 line.
Monthly parking is only $19 at this lot that is conveniently located directly across from the main transit hub for downtown Tampa-Marion transit center. Park here and take the HART bus to work or the free InTowner that runs in the morning and afternoon. There's also a coast bike share station located at the Marion Transit Center as another option to get around.
