First off, it took forever to find this place and there's NO PARKING for the building, after walking three-five blocks, we get to the building and the doors are all locked, and it seems to be a bank. I was very confused but looking at the photos on google, this was the place. So after searching for an open door I finally was let in, then took an elevator to the second floor. I arrived at the front desk, and I see a hallway, with photos then a door, expecting that I would soon go through that door to go to more exhibits, nope, it's only a small hallway, then the lady told me there's "much more on the third floor!" I go to the elevator, and I got stuck! The elevator would not open, and would NOT go to the third floor, it finally took me back to where I started and I tried another elevator, did the same thing, finally after going to four elevators I arrived on the third floor, this was probably worst than the first exhibit, it was not photography art, it was historical photos, which yes can be cool and what not but it wasn't what I was expecting or looking for. The whole thing is three short hallways, and a complete bust.

Oh, and please don't say you're sorry, and to visit on the fourth Friday of the month like you are on everyone else's post. I'm never stepping foot inside that place again, if I could get my $20 refund that'd be great.

What a lovely museum, very aesthetic and peaceful. Well put together shows. Definitely a place to see!

Very poor selection for the money i have paid to go in here. The museum itself is just sad. Yes the things inside are very nice but there isn't much. Not worth the price. Staff was nice though but seriously who ever owns this museum needs to lower there prices by alot. If im going to pay away my pocket i expect to have a mind blowing experience with loads of exibits inside. Not worth the money but if your rich you probably wouldnt care.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. DO NOT WATSE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

I've experienced FMoPA as a student (taking a photography seminar), and visitor, enjoying exhibits. It's a must-visit destination for Florida residence, and those visiting from out of town. A Tampa gem!

Some interesting photos. Nothing too exciting.
