We celebrated our sons 6th birthday party here. It was an awesome place for a party of 12 kids and parents. They included a tour of the real working firehouse across the street and everyone loved it. I’m highly recommending it along with their great staff!
Great firefighter history in this museum also has a gift shop with lots of TFR items...
Joy greeted us at the door and was cheery, welcoming and informative. The building was pristine, exhibits interesting and nicely displayed, and the kids section was a lot of fun for my little man. The biggest kick for him though was watching though the big arched window as the engine company across the street turned out for a run.

Had the pleasure of stopping by yesterday with my wife and 2year old. I don't think it says so on the website, but admissions free, just pay to park.
I grew up in the Bay Area, and it's nice to see downtown blossoming and embracing its history. Always good to be back.
