It's been over 2 years and my babies still walk with a little pep in their step to the office. There's no fear and that's what every parent would like. The office screams kid friendly, from the token machines, to the video games, coloring stations, paintings on the wall and the AWESOME staff. My now 7 year old will grab a toy, lie back in her seat watch tv while chatting with the techs. You guys, I don't work for the office nor was I asked to comment. If you have any doubts try them just once and you too will wish they saw adults!!
Dr. Pettinato and Dr. T are amazing. I am so glad I picked them as my child's dentist. They truly care for their patients and explain everything in details. Also their assistant is awesome!
Stay away from this place. Money is their biggest concern. The dentist was conversing with her dental technician the entire time she was working on my son's mouth. I found that to be rude. I dont get a warm feeling that anyone there truly cares about the patients. In addition, we always wait at least an hour to be seen. I have since found a new dentist for my kids and see what I have been missing. Stay away !!!!!!
I have a 7, 9 and 12 year old who were once seen at a (lets say GE). At a visit I asked to check on my at that time 5 year old (I was told that I could peek in only) as I was approaching the door, I heard someone FUSSING at my screaming child to sit still. I burst into the room and saw several people pinning her down. I immediately left that foolish place.
Made an appointment for my daughter to have her second cavity filled here. Got here this morning, tried to get an x ray done, she didn't cooperate (she's 4) and that was that. They admitted to being too busy to even try a second x ray for the procedure and sent us home. Terribly managed and didn't take into consideration that a 4 year old may not cooperate. They overbook themselves for their own benefit.
After making my insurance company aware, I took my babies to Dr. Pettinato's office and MY GOODNESS it was perfect!!! I explained what happened with the previous dentist office and they assured me that Dr. T and Dr. P would take good care of the kids.
Dr. T is the most amazing doctor we've been to. Our old dentist estimated $5,000 (fillings and crown) to fix 4 cavities my 4 year old son has plus close to $2,000 we would have to pay for anaesthesia (we were told my son would have to be put to sleep for the procedure). My son was totally traumatized during the visit and the check up with his old dentist. Dr. T's office estimated total of $315 without putting him to sleep. Dr. T is highly professional, very approachable, boy is she AMAZING at handling kids that are 4 year old!!! She communicated with my son during the whole check up, distracted him and made the whole check up fun and easy, he even got to play with the suction tube which he was terrified to see from his old dentist. The nurse that helped with my son's check up and cleaning is amazing as well, everyone works there seems to have amazing bedside manners and very friendly. Dr T. has totally changed my son's image of a dentist and he's no longer afraid to go to see a dentist, or a doctor in general, he wanted to go back to see Dr. T again because "She's FUN!"
