Not a bad place, still has a lot of the historic architecture and lots of unique options. Could use more quick service foods and places to shop but overall it's a nice place for a casual walk.
Super cool touristy area, especially at night. Nice, safe area to walk around and have fun. Iconic area in old Ybor. Lots of pics online, just do a Google search... :-)
It feels "sorta weird" reviewing shopping and entertaining area, and here it goes:
**FALL RISK**
This is a very unique place in Tampa, it is very different than the rest of the area for sure. The scene changes a lot at night and on the weekends. Come walk around and do some shopping, get some food and grab a beer. There is some very good people watching also !!
Very fun atmosphere with many entertainment shops. Enjoy late night walks with many bars and restaurants. Fun events and full of things to do late at night. Just be careful, it’s a little dangerous.

The area is NOT prepared for rain (especially in rain-every-day Tampa), nor for protecting the customers. Notice the picture of the door, 1) notice the deluge coming down, 2) notice the lack of standard rugs/carpeting providing a 96% chance of falling (lawyers, place your cards by the door).
