Every mail carrier on this route should be fired immediately. Each one is incompetent. I can't count how many times they delivered the wrong mail and packages. I constantly had to switch with neighbors. They stuff things that shouldn't be bent or folded in the mailbox. Things that are supposed to be hand-delivered like certified mail, either get stuffed in the mailbox, or not delivered at all, but they place a "Sorry, We missed You" sticker in the box as if they tried. They just don't care. They set your mail on the porch on windy and rainy days with your package as if they providing a convenience. Leave the mail in the mailbox! I've found our mail scattered up the street weeks later, soaking wet. This post office is a joke.
The customer service was not so bad. I went in there at 5:15, and as there is still a long line in front of me. The manager or supervisor came out from the office and tried to help everyone in line. She has done a great job directing everyone and made the line go faster.
I am on hold right now and it's been 30 min and still holding! I think thery do this on purpose so you would hang and they leave the phone off the hook!
I went to the post office today and for the first time in my life I was treated like a human being at a government institution.
10/08 (Update)I have to resubmit a review because after spending approx. $2,000 dollars doing EDDM with post office, I found out they don't ship the items the next day or within two days like they told me, but instead they ship my items three weeks after I drop it off at the post office. This is very unprofessional! Especially taking the money and was informed that the items will be send in two days.
Got done what I needed to do, but the customer service was rude both times I've been here. The employees I dealt with couldn't make it any more clear that they were miserable.
