This is a tiny park right in the heart of downtown. We usually stroll through here when in downtown. We try to buy a couple of meals for the homeless who frequently stay in the park.
Fabulously shaded spot for meeting friends. Too bad it's right in front of TPD! :(
This park is well shaded and is good for a quick lunchtime stop or meetup with friends. It is in close proximity to restarants and is a convenient urban stop.
Every first Wednesday of the month there is The Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta at this park. Two whole sides of Tue park are full with a variety of food trucks making it hard to choose where you want to eat. There are also tables and chairs set up within the park allowing you to enjoy the weather and take a relaxing break from the job before heading back to whatever deadlines are looming over you.
Food Not Bombs provides free food and other items for those in need every Tuesday at 8am and Saturday at 4pm. It is is good to see that the city has come to its senses and stopped trying to arrest people for feeding the hungry.
