Love this park. Have many great memories here. They have a nice doggy area and the playground is nice and clean for the kids. Its really beautiful to bike (or walk) around the whole park.

it's a great park to take your kids. you can reserve a covered spot for birthday parties, you are allowed to have rental jumping house for the kids. There are also plenty of playground spaces throughout the park. They have a running trail if you like jogging and a spacious dog park for dog lovers. The only problem is that it can get very crowded so I take my kids weekdays in the evening.
Al Lopez Park.
There is a lot to see and do at this park. It's one of my favorite parks to go for a nice walk, see nature, play on the one of the three playgrounds, visit the cancer memorial (watch out for sleeping hobos) or check out the rec center. The only thing I would warn you about is the insane amount of childrens birthday parties on the weekend and the copious amounts trash they leave behind. I'm sure the parks personnel do their best to clean up but it's daunting.
