They put me into a room with a man that had a leaky colostomy bag. Feces were on the bathroom walls. There was another man that thought he had hulk-like powers. I was completely miserable. They gave me trazadone. It stuffed up my nose. I asked for something else. A male nurse arrived with a syringe fill of saline and roughly forced it into my nose. How was I to rest on such an envuronment?
...update thank you for sending me this message. I did call that hotline it states someone will return my call in 24 hrs. Never received a call back so I waited and couple days and called 2 more times. And still have not heard anything back.
A diagnoses based on nothing. Specialists have since ruled out the simple, contagious things. Don't trust anyone here, don't follow up with or see a doctor that goes here, and be very careful. Bring someone with you if you can. This place is a death trap.
I just wanted relief from my insomnia. It should have been treated as a medical condition.
In my opinion, hospitals should have something for those merely anxious and tired. Behavioral wards are unhealthly and mentally scarring.
Very unprofessional staff.
But for a doctor that gets paid that took an oath and has a medical license that was really low and no patient deserves to be treated that way .
They seem careless talking to me like if i was a joke . The doctor did not seem to care at all he had a really bad attitude towards me and my mother.
When someone goes to a hospital your expectations are that the doctor is going to be friendly as well as the staff. But literally no one but the registration lady was nice to me.
The doctor was careless , the way he spoke to me and looked at me I never felt so Bad in my life
Now things are terrible for me. After that experience I tried to tough it out. I eventually developed a related illness months later. Maybe I should have gone to a sleep specialist, but my gp never suggested it or made the option known to me.
I had no idea what I was in for.
I had been to emergency rooms seeking help for my insomnia over the previous month. I was never admitted. This was the first place that offered an option. But it was a mistake.
I had to go to another ER that same day because of my stools. Diarrhea had to be stopped. They were aware it was a problem. They wasted hours of the day while I lied in a separate room alone while having a seizure. Unbelievable. And worse yet? They told me it was a "stomach bug".
I went here for terrible problems with insomnia. They put me into the behavioral ward, something I was completely unfamiliar with. I had expected to finally get some rest. I had expected that I would be surrounded by caring doctors and nurses.
I have never been treated that way Coming from a doctor Both of my godparents are doctors and they own a hospital in my native country .
I've had a countless number of bad experiences over the years (this is the closest ER to my location unfortunately or I'd 'switch' entirely- I only go here if I don't have the time for another) but this is the first review I've made. I went in on May 19th for constant vomiting. 4 times before 11am. The *only* thing they did was give me nausea meds and one bag of IV fluids which they are billing me for...despite my insurance. What??? Their phone service is terrible. The woman in the billing department dropped my call.
4.5 hours and they had no clue what was wrong. Staff was terrible same with the doc; didn't even offer water or check up on me! Never again am I going there. I will travel farther to a better hospital. If I could do a zero star I would...
