Buy a gift card and give it your friends who want to setup a nice kitchen with small appliances. They would be really happy with Home goods :) :)
The rating is more so due to the unprofessional customer service associates and not the actual merchandise.
My wife and I shop at this particular store religiously, but after today's awful customer service we will no longer be shopping here. My wife and I found an accent piece of furniture that had a price sticker of $39.99 on it. While my wife and I were debating on buying the piece we saw no other price sticker on the item. When we brought the item to the register to pay for it we were greeted by a rude cashier. Apparently there was an additional price tag hanging underneath the piece that was not visible unless you searched for it. The price was $70 and the price difference was not a big deal, but the way that the lady handled the situation was unprofessional and rude. When I explained to the lady that we never saw that price and only the one that was visible. She said "we will not honor it" in a rude manner. At this point it was based upon principle that we decided to not buy the item. As we were walking away the lady mumbled "today is going to be a crazy day". I'm disgusted in the lack of professionalism displayed towards us (the customer). As a business owner, I understand how far customer service goes - this was a classics case on "what not to do in customer service".
Awesome deals, beautiful furniture (some of it is poor quality though). Tara the store manager (I think her name is) refused 2 stools I tried to return, said it had scratches on it. I bought them that way. The look is rustic and industrial, metal and distressed wood.I blame myself for not taking pictures of the stools before I bought them.
Store that sells a lot of home decor. We always end up getting something there. Great variety of items. Some overpriced, some are not.
This is great place. I visit this place frequently and find a lot of useful kitchen, home stuff. Price is always cheaper compared to the actual sellers.
