If u want good country soul food cooking well this is the place to be!!!! I am not from Tampa and I am not able to experience my mother's home cooking but I have found the next best thing. Everything is delicious from the collard greens and macaroni and cheese to the lime beans cornbread dressing. The yams I'm not even gonna go there with yams I can eat them just by them self they are so good! From the first bite I can sense the love and dedication they take in preparing this food and I just want to say to the staff at food for the soul Thank you for all you do so that we can enjoy "Food 4 the Soul".!!!!!!!
I like the food here. Service was fine as well. I was with a friend and she recommended that I should atleast try the food here and I am glad that I did. Will be coming back here again! :)
Incredible food. Best soul food I've had in Tampa.
The fried chicken and sides were good. The baked chicken needed Seasoning and the skin was soggy. The red velvet cake was delicious but the pound cake was dry and spongy
