My wife Arlene and I recently joined Mekor Shalom and are so very happy with our decision. We moved to the Tampa area 2yrs. ago, from Buffalo, NY. At the invitation of Hazzan Jodi Sered Lever, we attended High Holiday Services last year and joined the Congregation this year. We have been affiliated with Synagogues all our lives and have never felt so comfortable and welcomed as we do here. The Hazzan knows everyone by name and the Congregation is her family. This is the first time I’ve truly felt like I was an important part of the Congregation and am looking forward to taking an active role in what I would consider to be the best Congregation in the Tampa area.
