Pet Wize is the most trustworthy pet store I have ever been to. The prices for everything is beyond great. I refuse to go to any other pet store. Pet wize is the ONLY place where everything is not overpriced. The owners, Nick and Elizabeth, are extremely generous, caring, and knowledgeable as well as their associates. They truly care for each pet as if it were their own. Nick and Elizabeth have taught me so much about taking care of my dogs and they always have an answer for any concern I have. They never let me down. They also have grooming there and they always do a wonderful job. Pet Wize is the perfect place to go to, I highly recommend this place to all pet owners because I promise you, you will be in great hands.
I like this store but their variety is what sucks. I like the prices but not what they offer. They barely have any supplies for my rabbit. No treats just salt cubes which she hates. The place is pretty big and there's no way of knowing what section you're in unless you're looking at the products. It's good if you're on a budget but if you own a rabbit you're gonna have to go elsewhere if you want a bigger selection.
Horrible service. I’ve tried to visit this establishment a few times because I believe in supporting our local businesses. However, the cashier takes a phone call while finishing the transaction and doesn’t say thank you or offer help for the many items I had purchased. The customer behind me asked if I needed help. I purchased a pet carrier that fell apart within minutes. I tried to return it a few days later, willing to accept store credit and the purchase of a different carrier but was denied without itemized receipt. Even though I still had the tags and credit card statement showing purchases totaling over $80. I’m very disappointed.
Pet Wize is an amazing small business that deserves to be supported. After moving up to Tampa, I decided to bring my dog here for baths and nail trims simply because it was convenient for me, however I am a loyal customer now and will never be bringing him elsewhere. He is a very sassy little dog and I am sure he gives them a hard time, however all of the employees seem to love him anyway. I know that all the employees and the owner care very much about the quality of care that animals receive, hence why all of their products are top of the line. I always have the best experiences with customer service here, especially with Stephanie. She is incredibly nice and informative; she was a huge help with providing advice about my new kitten. I would endlessly recommend this shop to anyone who truly cares about their animals!
They took my Yorkie Teddy without an appointment and he came out happy and looking like a million bucks. Teddy is a rescue pup, so he gets nervous around new people. They did great with him. They also have an awesome sale on the vitamin/joint health treats - buy one get one free. The entrance to the plaza is a little tricky to get into, but totally worth it. Just remember to turn in where the Shapes sign is on 56th St. Teddy has a new groomer! Thank you Pet Wize!!!
