My favorite club in the US. Great vibe. Reasonable drink prices and selection. Bar tenders know how to mix liquors well. Wonderful eclectic mix of patrons both local and from afar. Great goth and industrial music sets with a mix of some 80s and electro and synthpop snuck in. Several venues in one with a few different bars and lounges and an outdoor area too.
I hate to say it, but that threw off my whole night here.
The Atmosphere and music were great, but the bartender charged us too much for our shots without telling me how much they were.
One of the best Gothic clubs in the country. What else can be said. Iconic.
Every night is Halloween The Dungeon, was decked out in skulls, metal chains and moody red lighting. They say it was the cigar workers union office in the early days.

We were ordering $2 well shots (advertised 12AM-1AM special on a sign at the bar), and they did taste like well drinks, and instead we were given some shots that were around $7-8. I didn't know how much they actually were because we were never told until they hit us with the receipt. So instead of having some nice affordable well drinks for about $20, we were charged $73.
I loved this place growing up and I always felt so free spirited here. For years I was a regular but as my friends moved away, had kids, and school and work picked up I didn't have time. I recently decided to have a night out and was sadly disappointed. I'm not sure if they are under new management but there were so many new rules I felt uneasy. I still love the music but the tension was definitely not cool.
