I only wish the campus was located closer to my home.
Dr. Brown took all the time I needed. No churn here. I really appreciate that. I am use to Dr's cutting you off and assuming the rest.
I have had great experiences with USF as my primary care location. All my doctors have been excellent. I had a pretty rough year health-wise and they all have been very supportive.
Best medical experience I have had. Way different from the 'norm'.
Dr. Heidi Stephens IS THE WORST DOCTOR I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. DO NOT SEE HER. SHE PUT IN NO EFFORT AT ALL TO TRY AND HELP ME WITH MY INJURY. She had the worst attitude I've ever experienced with a doctor. Her and the nurse were extremely rude. She didn't try to help me at all. She told me to go back to my old doctor and that there was nothing she could do.THIS LADY HAD NO INTENTIONS ON HELPING ME WITH MY INJURY WHAT SO EVER. I WOULDN'T EVEN CALL HER A "DOCTOR" BECAUSE SHE ACTED LIKE SHE HAD NO IDEAL WHAT SHE WAS DOING. I couldn't believe how bad the experience was that I had there. It was a huge waste of time and money.
Furthermore, back in March I had lots of lab work done. These labs were sent out to Quest Diagnostics and NTC. For some reason, USF took my insurance off of my records during this month. I called in as soon as I noticed and had them put the insurance back on, but they never submitted the claims for those labs in March. I asked them to fix it and was told that they would. It is now September and those claims have yet to be submitted. My insurance company can't get anyone to call them back from USF about submitting these claims and Quest has now moved to send a collections agency after me for the $1,500 in lab work I had done that month because they are not getting paid. If USF doesn't answer my insurance company's calls in the next 2 weeks, I will have to pay for all of that blood work that should have been covered. Blood work which I don't actually have access to, because USF also hasn't sent over my records to my doctor. This has been a nightmare and every time I get another phone call about the payments due it sends me into a fit of stress-induced contractions. If anyone on here knows of any legal action I can take, please contact me and let me know. I was their patient and they are not protecting me at all. I am hoping that a bad review might even get their attention enough that someone will finally call me back and take steps to fix these issues with me before the baby comes in a week.
If you think need lab work make sure you fast before you come here because you can get it done in the same day.
I moved to Delaware about 3 months ago and started seeing a new doctor here. I called in to the Billing and Records department to get my records faxed over and got no answer or response to my voicemails for about 2 weeks leading up to my first appointment here. My doctor's office here then began calling in to USF to get the records. I am having a c-section in 7 days and still have not had my records sent over or even had anyone return my voicemails. I had to repeat some of the blood work I already had done and would have had to repeat every single one of my tests done at USF if not for MyChart, which I had to access and print all of my records off of at the library and bring to my doctor here because no one at USF answered our calls to have my records sent over. We still aren't sure which vaccinations I received at USF and which I still need before the birth in 7 days. At this point, I will be having the baby and just hoping that I got all the shots I was meant to get.
All of the diagnostics are in this building. No need to get referred to another place on another day.
Since connecting with my team at USF, I have taken up yoga, Pilates, physical therapy, cognitive/behavioral therapy, meditation, accupunture and cupping. These have done a lot for my panic/ptsd, stomach issues and back pain.
I am pregnant and have had an absolutely horrible experience with USF Health with the exception of a few individuals. The practice itself is impersonal, but you expect that going in knowing that it is a group practice with students, midwives, PAs, nurses and doctors taking turns seeing you each time you visit. However, my real issues have arisen since I left.
I was a workaholic for years and had put my health on the back burner. I went in for a physical with my PCP at USF and she suggested a healthier lifestyle. Sounds simple, but was definitely a change from past suggestions focusing on medication-based treatment.
Thank you.
Free parking in the garage across the street, and a free valet if u need it.
I signed in and my name was called.
5 stars for each provider and USF as a whole.
I'm very thankful for my team at USF. Their whole-body approach to health care and the ease of communication using My Chart has helped me a great deal. It is very easy to keep them in the loop and ask for support or referrals. They are always willing the help me with my many questions.(lol) They combine eastern and western medicine in a logical way that delivers clear benefits. I have seen this with many of the medical offices in Florida which has been impressive.
I didn't have to wait at all.
I didn't even finish the paperwork.
I had no issues with actual care but if you ever want a copy of your medical records.... good luck! They say they will return all phone calls within 1 business day... 2 months and SEVERAL messages up the chain of command later and still no phone call back to get a status on the record requests I have sent (both mail and fax).
