Would've been 5 stars on the day of our visit, but the water wasn't heated on a day where it was very chilly. EVERYONE was complaining about the water temperature to the staff and just getting a sorry that the heater wasn't working.
*Update: Used this free ticket perk again in August at SeaWorld and got free parking there too, worth the money when compared to the likes of Disney. The meal plan also got us free water which we used wisely on multiple stops....At $5/water bottle, we got 3 plans and had almost 12 waters on a very humid day, saved $60 on water alone + $10 on parking and $79 ticket = $149 in savings on one day. WORTH THE MONEY
For the price of admission, season pass - the best deal for a water park. It can get crowded with long lines but that is with any park. You can bring water bottles in so bring your own and save $. They don't allow outside food/drink, but leave it in a cooler in your car and eat lunch at the picnic tables in the parking lot if you are trying to save $. Overall great deal.
You can easily spend the better part of your day here without lamenting about the other parks in central Florida. There are plenty of slides and play areas suitable for most ages. Little ones aren't the primary target audience here, we're talking under 5yr crowd here, if this applies to you then know your day will be a short one as you'll be confined to limited activities.
Fun park to chill at for the day. It would be nice to bring food in at the very least, but don't really mind paying for food because of the discounts of being a pass holder. I will agree with some of the reviews on here that they need to improve the food lines. No one wants to stand out in the sun for over an hour to get their food, which we've had to do a few times .
It's a good place to go especially in Florida where it's always hot they have different attractions for all age groups. The only problem if you buy an annual pass the park is closed from the middle of October until March of next year but you still have to pay each month even though you can't go into the park and it's not like it gets too cold and Florida to go into the water year round. But overall it's a nice place to stay cool and have fun
Do some online digging, the annual passes comes with useful perks for parking and discounted preferred parking. If you're planning on going early, opt in for the meal deal; their portions are big enough for two on the adult side while the kids side seems better fitted for kids under 10yrs old. We used the annual pass for a free ticket because of birthday perks.
It's fun, no question. The racer slide however is so unsafe! Not the ride itself, the staircase structure leading to it. Being a contractor, you notice things. At the top staircase, I was leaning on the railing until I noticed how much it was leaning, and how easy it would breakaway under the right conditions. All it would really take is someone heavier leaning on it or multiple people, and at that height, a fall would be fatal! Also several boards on the stairs were missing screws and moved! Aren't there any safety checks on the rides? Busch should be ashamed, it's a large lawsuit waiting to happen.
I would have no problem giving a 5 star rating, but....
